Report Intellectual Freedom Issues

Libraries should report any challenges to materials, resources, or services to the American Library Association Office for Intellectual Freedom. Even if you do not need support please report any challenges your library experiences. Your information will remain confidential.

Install Policy to Protect Intellectual Freedom

Libraries should develop clear guidelines that prioritize access to diverse information, establish procedures for handling censorship challenges, provide staff training on intellectual freedom principles, and actively involve community members in policy development and decision-making processes.
